Direct Deposit Program
If you are currently enrolled in direct deposit, you are in good company. Over 90% of property owners participating in the New York State Homes and Community Renewal Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program are enrolled in direct deposit.
If you are new to the HCV Program, you are probably already aware that all newly participating owners are required to sign up for direct deposit of their HAP checks.
The advantages to direct deposit are numerous:
Safer
Unlike physical checks, payments cannot be lost or stolen in the mail
Faster
Funds are deposited into your account on the first weekday of the month
More Convenient
There is no need to go to a bank to deposit funds into your account
To sign up for the direct deposit program, please submit a completed copy of the Direct Deposit Authorization Form and a voided check through on of the following methods:
